7/52 Nathan and Daniel Clifton
So I got Nate to don his Jersey so I could take this picture after recieving Daniel's Senior Soccer picture. These guys look so much alike or rather Nathan looks so much like Daniel's picture in real life I wanted to see how much he looked like him in a picture. They still look alot alike, both athletes and both moms from Kansas too I believe. Wonder how much else they have in common? At any rate on week 7 of the 52 week project you get Daniel and Nathan I took Nathan's picture I did not take Daniel's.F8 1/500(used a flash) ISO 1600(yes I was a power tumbling meet yesterday) I forgot to change the ISO back to 200. I also took pictures of Nathan and Emily...they are cute I'll post them later this week. For now I am behind on my BSF...other pictures but at least the laundry is done...Thank you Mr. Clifton I loves me some Sunday afternoon clean sheets!!

Just because they cancelled BSF...
Ok for the second week in a row BSF (Bible study fellowship) has been cancelled. We are studying Isaiah this year. Its funny Isaiah is all about relying on God, believing in the unseen woe to unbelievers and rest for those who believe. Its funny because when you are pulled away from your weekly fellowship and accountability how easy is it NOT BE IN FELLOWSHIP??? I have had extra days this last two weeks because of Snow Days etc that I could have done so much extra in depth study but did I??? NOOOOO...I did not but wait...worship is not just study of the bible. I got to spend some great moments with my family, with my friends, I got on my knees more than 4 times for someone who called or said they needed prayer. I prayed for my boys each time they went out in the ice to get me a diet coke and firewood. My sweet son took his little sister on wildlife adventures and my precious teenage girl curled up and napped with me late in the morning. I love you ... buuutt I *shaking head back and forth* don't like you all deee time. This is our motto right now me and Sis. She and I worked on pictures together and took some great stuff too...see couch picture below. Snow days provided great days of worship so my children could see who we rely on...when nobody is lookin.

5/52 Sis and the couch in the snow
This picture was shot TODAY and was shot for the project. I am uploading both the original photo and the processed image. Sissy has such a beautiful look I love this picture of her in the snow. Yes that is an actual couch, in my actual backyard, with my actual child in the pouring snow!!

4/52 Emily's 9th Birthday
Sooo Emily is not even in the picture I chose from her birthday party. This is Nathan, Sis (McKeznie) and Sawyer Jones my nephew. I really need to start processing these photographs or actually shooting for the project. For now until I catch up I am just grabbing what I have shot over the last 6 weeks. Starting this week I will be making a special effort to shoot for the project.

3/2 Warriors Grand Champions
Building a better blog...but this is just a fun pic of Emily Grace with her HUGE trophy. The Warriors from Cross Timbers Gym in Argyle Texas took 1st place in Junior Level 1 and Grand Champion for all of Level 1 there were 12 teams in the entire level. The girls got State Champion Jackets and Lexi Markwardt got the trophy for all her hard work. I know someday Emily Grace will get that trophy.

2/52 Sis and the Portrait lights
Soooo its been since 1995 that I set up full portrait lights and backdrops etc. Sis was on hand to help me. These are completely over exposed as I was beginning my bracketing...moving exposure up and down to get to correct exposure however these are my favorites...I love to see her laugh like nobody is watching. Look on our FB for the whole set of pics.

1/52 Emily Grace Power Tumbling
Emily Grace does power tumbling as well as Cheer. Last year she walked on to the mat the first time and won the Gold in her flight...this year...her first pass was gorgeous, her second, well she over rotated and fell on her bottom. She might have won the Gold again her first score was so high. She competes again at the end of February and I am hoping to make her another Gold Medal Memory mate. At any rate this is Emily Grace on the mat and her coach Austin Shirley.
